Your MRCOOL HVAC system is backed by a manufacturer warranty designed to protect your investment and keep your system running reliably for years to come.

Important: All warranty claims are handled directly through MRCOOL Corporate Warranty.

You can submit a warranty claim directly to MRCOOL, or if you need help, MRCOOL DIY Direct will assist you every step of the way. Our goal is simple: get your issue resolved as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Warranty Coverage Overview

Mini-Split Systems (Excluding Advantage® & Easy Pro®)

  • 5 years on all parts (original registered end-user)
  • 7 years on the compressor

Easy Pro® Series Mini-Split Systems

  • 2 years on all parts
  • 1 year on the compressor

Advantage® Series Mini-Split Systems

  • 2 years on all parts
  • 1 year on the compressor

Central Ducted Systems

  • 10 years on parts and labor

Universal Series Systems

  • 10 years on all parts

What You Need to Know

Product Registration

To receive full warranty coverage, your MRCOOL system must be registered after installation. Registration ensures your warranty is active and protects you if an issue arises.

Maintenance Requirements

Routine maintenance is required to keep your warranty valid. MRCOOL offers a Protection Program that includes DIY cleaning kits and replacement filters shipped twice per year to help maintain system performance.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranties typically do not cover shipping costs, refrigerant, routine maintenance, or labor unless specifically stated. Always refer to your product’s warranty documentation for exact terms.

How to File a Warranty Claim

  • Have your proof of purchase and product registration information available
