Like all MRCOOL® DIY® products, the Hyper Heat series uses pre-charged line sets filled with environmentally friendly R-454B refrigerant. That means no vacuum pump, no refrigerant handling, and no specialized HVAC tools are needed—just connect the fittings and tighten. Homeowners can complete the installation safely and confidently without licensing or professional equipment.

Every system ships with a standard 25-foot pre-charged line set, which works for most installations. If your indoor and outdoor units must be placed farther apart, MRCOOL® also offers longer pre-charged line sets that can be purchased separately. These extended lengths maintain the same DIY-friendly design while giving you more placement flexibility.
