DIY SO EASY SO COOL

Only bought I tool 3.5" hole saw. Everything else is is in order. Measure area width before purchase though. 18k is larger than the 9k. Had to change locations for it. If not sure. Call them. We have had no air since July. 100+ temps for months. Now I have a blanket on my feet with it set at 73. Will add 2 more downstairs next spring.

i have 2 18k mini Splits they came with 3" line I think the 3" ic too small if you
have more than one corner dont want to bend any more than i did, i used a 4 " rad, I will usse the 3.5 thru the wall with 4" lene covers

Restored operation.

Board replacement went fine, but remember to transfer the light blue plastic jumper(circled in RED on attached picture) from the old board to the new board or you will get error codes on startup. I have a breaker panel installed whole house surge suppressor, but a very near lightning strike took out a handful of stuff in the house; several recessed light led retrofits, insteon light switch, garage door operator, cable modem, nest thermostat, and the control board in the outdoor Mr Cool 2/3 ton universal heat pump unit. I could hardly blame Mr. Cool as a company or an "as built" problem with the equipment, so I troubleshot the problem, ate the cost of the board on a otherwise great machine under warranty, and fixed it myself. Very large house and I would not hesitate to replace the three remaining 5 ton units with the Mr. Cool Universal 4/5 ton heat pumps. (Wink wink Mr. Cool)
