Great system. Cools the whole house. Great customer service. I hired a professional for install but he was done in 4 hours. 2 air handlers and the compressor. Haven't tried to the wifi yet.

Works way better than any ac unit I ever gotten. Easy to install. Quiet as heck! My electric bill didnt spike up the fan speed was fast yet quiet. The size is perfect and energy efficient! Very good quality.

Really love this unit. It heats and cools our small space here in Florida and keeps the electric bill down too. The app controls it when away or at home although quirky. The remote control is great. It was fairly easy to install and doesn't take up much space. Lots of YouTube videos show you how to do it.You have an inside, small hang on the wall unit, and a small outside unit. Very quiet. We don't even know if it's running or not until we walk up to it and feel if air is blowing or not. Really can't hear it run.No problems with it and I would buy it again.

This item is NOT the Do-It-Yourself Model. Even though the guts are identical to the DIY, it takes more thought and effort to install. You need some special tools, like a vacuum pump, a good flare tool, tubing benders, and some beforehand practice with the flare tool to do it. If you take motors apart, build machinery from scratch, or are a plain dedicated do-yourselfer, you can do it. If you're not willing to invest the time studying up on it and practicing with the flare tool, you'd better forget it. Go with one of the DIY models.Mine works great. I have an 18,000 BTU model installed in a 700-square foot (insulated) garage.The temperature drop across it is about 38 degrees (if room air is 80F, output air will be about 42F). It has no problem at all cooling the place down quickly. It appears to be very smart, only putting out the temperature needed to maintain the setting. It may start out at 42, but after 20 minutes it might be doing 58. The fan is nearly silent.

I bought this because of a suggestion from a builder I work with frequently. He knew I like to do things myself. After investigating I decided on the 12k 240 volt system. I installed indoor and outdoor unit. I attempted to make the connections but stopped when I started to remove the caps on the inside unit, it started hissing, which I wasn’t expecting. I have a HVAC guy I know personally and requested one of his guys visit to complete the installation. The technician mentioned the hissing was just nitrogen in the unit. He completed the typical servicing they would do on mini splits, pressure test and pulling vacuum. I’ve run the system for a month and have no complaints. It works great and it’s super quiet. The WiFi module paperwork wasn’t updated for this new model but I figured it out.

I bought this for an apartment room off my house that's 25ft x 15ft. Its the main heat and AC in this room which my oldest son lives. I installed it last summer so we had it thru this whole winter. No problems heating even on 15 degree nights. Didnt even have to crank it up on colder nights to accommodate the colder temps. The coldest night we had here this winter was 9 degrees and windy. It was putting out 120 degree air than night. I have 2 other 18k Mrcool units for the rest of the house which is why i went with this one. Now the 9k dont have that crazy blower fan speed that the big ones have but its comparable air flow of a big window unit. Very efficient due to the variable compressor. One thing I like about mini splits are you can run them off smaller generators in a power outage where a typical heat unit is on a 60 amp breaker and you cant. If your concerned about heating or cooling power just buy a unit one size up. Bigger unit dont work as hard so it pulls less power while maintaining temp.

Purchased 24KBtu unit for a 14x65 2Br Mobile Home. Relatively straightforward installation, but not for everyone. I made a dumb mistake in wiring between the indoor unit and outdoor, resulting in an error that wasn't described in the otherwise good documentation. Tried to call the vendor, left a message, but never heard back. I did find the answer to my problem on the vendor's website, and the issue was easily fixed. Purchased a vacuum pump, gauges, and line set covers from Amazon to complete the project.It has worked great since I rectified my wiring mistake. It's only been in heat mode (Jan in NC), and generates impressive heat and airflow at next to zero noise. The condenser unit outside is also very quiet. Time will tell on the reliability and efficiency, but everything I've seen thus far makes me optimistic.

The only difference is this version has uncharged open ended lines. The compressor unit has all the refrigerant you need. The indoor unit evaporator is pressurized with nitrogen an inert gas to keep the unit sealed and assure they hold pressure. You simply need to buy a gage and vacuum set (sold on Amazon for @ $125). Also a connector for the mini split size connection. It is very easy to do and lots of Youtubers to watch. It's summer in SW Florida and I had this unit installed in my garage that would get to around 100 degrees every day. It wouldn't even cool under 78 at night. It was so hot in there I couldn't even work on my motorcycles. My garage is perfectly cool now with this unit. It's not even working hard. I bought the unit and my AC guy installed it. He said it was under-charged so he charged it completely. I'm very happy with this unit.

First and foremost, this is not a do-it-yourself unit, unless you have HVAC equipment and watch plenty of YouTube videos. I thought it was the DIY unit when I purchased it so I had to learn how to install it. I am using it in my garage in the Chicago area and this 1.5 ton is a great performer. No need to run consistently but when heating or cooling is required it gets the job done. In the heating mode the outside unit is a little noisy but I hope to eliminate that when I insulate and drywall the garage, but the inside unit is super quiet. The wifi works as advertised and operates from my smart phone from anywhere. The wireless remote does not communicate over or with the wifi and takes a few extra button pushes to get it to respond. I purchased aftermarket air filtering sheets and I was shocked at how fast they got dirty. Worth the few extra pennys in my opinion. Overall, I absolutely love it.
